Thanks to the persistent input of Frank Richter, the Linux compatibility of the BibTeX to XML package has finally been achieved!
Starting with the release 1.0.102 of the BibTeX to XML package »bib2xml-1.0.102.tgz«, full support for all Linux distributions is finally available.

1.0 (2002-Aug-08):
First full release (no beta status)

1.01 (2002-Aug-13):
Fixed the space between the citation key and the icons.
Fixed »point 4 - Short notion of the complete translation process« in the file »HOWTO.txt« (part of xml2html.zip).

1.02 (2002-Aug-14):
The HTML encoding charset can now be set in »definitions.xml«.
Fixed the problem with the double punctuation marks in some title fields.
